Overview World Poker Tour
World Poker Tour® is without a doubt one of the strongest of all brands in the poker industry. However, despite all the publicity, WPT has fallen far behind the competition. There have been some improvements to the software in mid 2007 and they certainly push the software to a much better position. We must commend the World Poker Tour team on their hard work to increase the player traffic, which they have succeeded with remarkably well.
Software
In mid 2007, the World Poker Tour software received a major update to its previously crippled software. CryptoLogic are the software provider and many players find they are quite fond of the software regardless of the fact it is basic and standard. We liked it for the faster game, which allows the game to move along with speed even when the occasional player tries to slow the hand. The platform CryptoLogic uses is not fancy but the interface is smooth and game transitioning is good. Further, the graphics are good and provide for a clean look to the overall playing environment.
Since the lobby has a hard, revitalizing look, players find they can locate the games they want to play easily which gives this room the approval of the players.
World Poker Tour offers players a new and enhanced playing environment and players have the financial security they need. In fact, players would need to look hard and long to find another poker room with any better financials than World Poker Tour
