New Platform for MANSION Poker

Building a Better – New Platform for MANSION Poker

Wednesday, 10 October 2007, Gibraltar – enters a new expansionary phase with the announcement of its Poker partnership with Ongame Network Ltd.

From today, Members will have access to one of the largest global poker platforms - boasting over 30,000 concurrent players at peak times - and can enjoy the most vibrant and innovative online e-gaming network on the market

The strategic move to Ongame Network has a mandate to deliver a peerless Poker experience that remains true to’s core “add to player value” philosophy. “We aim to take full advantage of Ongame Network’s established liquidity to build bigger prize pools and bolder Member promotions for our growing global player base.” says MANSION Group CEO, Guy Gussarsky.

“We chose Ongame Network as one of the most tried and trusted platforms online and for their superior Poker software, but an equally important deal-maker has been their ability to enhance our business rather than consume it,” adds Gussarsky.

“We are delighted to partner with, who we share great synergy with. Together with and our established partner brands, we are poised to move our online poker network to a whole new level.” explains Tomer Katz, spokesperson for Ongame Network.

MANSION’s dynamic online Poker site hasn’t skipped a beat during the shift to Ongame Network, successfully preserving the unique brand and its sleek, sophisticated interface that have distinguished it since launch.

The legendary Guaranteed Tournament series (the ’Specials’) is set to continue, while players can now enjoy game variations Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, and 5 Card Draw, plus a range of low limit buy-ins, freerolls, cash games and unique Sit & Go formats.

There’s no better time to switch on to where the best elements of Ongame’s stable and proven platform will complement massive tournament action 24/7, richer prize pools, and more innovative and aggressive MANSION-style promotions firmly establishing the site as an increasingly popular place to stay and play.

Antigua vs. USA

Gambling Compliance says the dispute between Antigua and Barbuda’s and the US over the provision of online gaming services to US customers appears to be heading for arbitration, with the main point of contention the way compensation should be calculated. The US trade representative says Antigua’s demand for US$3.4bn is nearly four times larger than its entire economy, US$500,000 being given as a more realists figure. The island nation “has responded forcefully by saying those figures are meaningless because they simply do not include gambling”.
